architecture articles.
For 14 months I worked as a content editor at Resi.com, the UK's leading residential architecture practice. One of my roles included researching, writing, formatting and then uploading (through the company's CMS) weekly guides, blogs and articles. These were written and produced with a consideration of SEO practices. Once uploaded, visits, click-through-rate and lead generation were all closely monitored through Google Search Console and the business analytic tool, Metabase.
I've recently learned that hundreds of images used across Resi's site have had to be removed, affecting a lot of my work. Images were a major part of our SEO strategy, making blogs more readable, demonstrating points and breaking up text. Although it's annoying, please remember most of these blogs were originally produced with more images.
