This is where it all started.
I was in a GCSE food tech coursework lesson, tactfully not doing what I was supposed to be doing. I forget how, but I managed to stumble across a picture of this sweater on Google images. Awestruck by its hideousness, I clicked the picture through to an eBay listing.
'I have to buy this sweater,' I thought and probably said to myself. 'Who cares that it's in America and will cost a stupid amount of money to have shipped over.'
Size, weight, fit, durability, colour, golf, goof, the rare feature of having different patterns on the front and back - this sweater is as close to perfection as you will ever get. Like a drug user chasing that first high, or a gambling addict chasing that first win, I am now stuck pursuing the feeling I felt when getting home that fateful day, tearing open the trans-Atlantic stamp-plastered parcel, and laying my eyes upon its contents for the very first time.
Is anyone else rock hard right now?
